Project Title: EPOCH Project 2: Developing Innovative Retrofitting Interventions Compatible with Heritage Structures
Project Leader:  Dr. Carlito B. Tabelin
Duration:18 months
Salary:  Php 36,029.00/month for 5.5 months and Php 38,046.00 for 6.5 months
Tentative schedule of interview: September 15, 2025 (afternoon)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Metallurgical, Mining, Ceramics, or Chemical Engineering.
  • With research experience and a proven track record of scientific publications (preferred).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Technical Assistant IV in achieving the project’s outcomes and deliverables.
  • Perform and monitor experiments related to the project, including supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, when applicable.
  • Contribute to the planning, experimental design, and monitoring of research progress.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical progress and accomplishment reports.
  • Help in the requisition and management of equipment, supplies, and other project needs.
  • Draft manuscripts for submission to Scopus-indexed journals.
  • Assist in preparing patent applications for submission to the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO).
  • Carry out other project-related tasks as assigned by the Project Leader.
