Project Title: EPOCH Project 2: Developing Innovative Retrofitting Interventions Compatible with Heritage Structures
Project Leader:  Dr. Carlito B. Tabelin
Duration:18 months
Salary:  Php 41,305.00/month for 5.5 months and Php 43,350.00 for 6.5 months
Tentative schedule of interview: September 15, 2025 (afternoon)

Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Biology, preferably with a specialization in Microbiology.
  • Research experience and a proven track record of scientific publications (preferred).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the project.
  • Coordinate project milestones and schedules in collaboration with the Project Leader (PI), Co-Investigators (CIs), and Research Assistants (RAs).
  • Lead in the planning, experimental design, and monitoring of project activities.
  • Perform and supervise laboratory experiments, including mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, if applicable.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage research data, and effectively communicate findings when required.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical progress reports, evaluation reports, and both annual and terminal project reports.
  • Draft manuscripts for submission to Scopus-indexed journals.
  • Prepare patent applications in coordination with the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO).
  • Carry out other project-related tasks as assigned by the Project Leader.
