RedPoint Global is in need of the following:

Position: C/C++ Developer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with building C/C++ programs using g++ and other GNU tools, common APIs such as stdlib and STL templates.
• Familiarity with autotools; ability to maintain and upgrade autotools-based projects so the product can be built on a variety of platforms.
• Experience with configuration, installation, and maintenance of RedHat or CentOS Linux platforms.
• Perl 5.8.x programming using the perl object-oriented coding style as well as more traditional style.
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server version control. Alternatives: perforce or SVN.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell, file tools, file permissions, archives.
• Experience in running regression test suites, keeping notes and diagnosing problems.
• Ability to identify and fix test failures that are due to configuration

Position: QA Analyst

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of testing experience
• Linux experience
• CentOS/RHEL 5
• CentOS/RHEL 6
• Hadoop clusters on Centos/RHEL
• Amazon AWS / Cloudformation
• Prior experience testing with: Large scale ETL/data transformation processes, Windows batch scripts, .NET based services, Database functionality
• Skill in Windows/DOS Batch Scripting is preferred.
• xperience with an Automated QA Testing Tool (i.e. Test Director, etc.) is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports directly to the project lead
• Provides Daily testing and QA activities across all development teams.
• Log Test Results and Report Test Matrix for submission to QA Manager and Development Operations Manager
• Provide assistance in the development of test plans and detailed functional and Hadoop/Amazon AWS not really required
